TEACHING INTERESTS
Since 2019, I have been a lecturer at the University of Florida's Department of Sport Management, teaching various undergraduate and graduate courses. Before this, I was part of the Department of Tourism, Recreation, and Sport Management at the same university from 2018 to 2019. My teaching journey began at the University of Central Florida, where I served as an adjunct instructor and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Events, Tourism, and Attractions Management from 2008 to 2016. I have taught a wide range of courses during my tenure at UF. In the Spring of 2024, I taught "Advanced Legal Aspects: Live Entertainment & Sport" to 13 students and "Risk Management in Live Entertainment and Sport" to 90 students, including a UFO section with 44 students. I also taught "Sport Operations & Facility Management" to 90 students and a UFO section with 59 students. My Fall 2023 courses included "Advanced Legal Aspects: Live Entertainment & Sport," "Risk Management in Live Entertainment and Sport," and "Sport Operations & Facility Management." Additionally, I have experience teaching specialized courses like "Theme Park and Attraction Management" and various undergraduate research and internship courses. I have taught "Tourism and Hospitality Crisis Management" at the graduate level and "Operational Aspects of Sport and Entertainment." Beyond classroom teaching, I actively advise students, serving on multiple thesis and non-thesis committees and as a faculty advisor.
