RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests encompass four vital areas: risk and safety management, event design and execution, attraction operations, and education. Specifically, I focus on event, venue, and attraction management, delving into the intricacies of operating large-scale events and venues efficiently and safely. This includes examining the risk and safety management practices essential for ensuring the well-being of participants and staff. I also explore the regulatory landscape, studying the standards and practices that govern events, venues, and attractions to ensure compliance and enhance safety. My expertise extends to event design and execution, where I investigate innovative approaches to creating safer, engaging, and memorable experiences. Additionally, I am strongly interested in amusement ride and device safety, analyzing the operational aspects and safety protocols to prevent accidents and improve user experience. Complementing these interests, I am currently studying artificial intelligence and its potential applications in these fields, aiming to leverage AI to enhance safety, efficiency, and overall management of events, venues, and attractions.
