Research impact: Promoting the creation of high-quality manuscripts publishable in well- regarded, peer-reviewed journals; thereby broadening the reach, citability, and potential impact of this research. Supporting the responsible use of metrics in demonstrating this impact.
Research integrity: Promoting the responsible conduct of research throughout the research lifecycle, from study design through dissemination of findings and archiving of resulting publications.
Translational and clinical research: Expertise in human subjects research with specific expertise in the planning, coordination, and execution of randomized controlled trials involving mind-body therapies for chronic conditions related to aging, stress, and wellbeing.
Publishing best practices: Promoting responsible authorship, thoughtful selection of journals in which to publish, the use of appropriate reporting standards to enhance completeness and accuracy of journal articles, and compliance with funder requirements mandating that articles be made freely available to the public (e.g. NIH public access policy).
