Thiago Machado Pasin

My research focuses on understanding how membrane-associated and RNA-binding proteins control bacterial physiology and gene expression. My work combines protein biochemistry, X-ray crystallography, NMR spectroscopy, RT-qPCR, and in vitro RNA production to define protein–protein and protein–RNA interactions. These approaches help uncover mechanisms that can guide antimicrobial target identification and support new biotechnological applications.
