Summer Undergraduate International Research Program

The SUIRP Program provides UF undergraduate researchers with a life-changing opportunity to conduct research at a foreign institution. Past students have conducted research in Uganda, Argentina, France, Italy and many other countries. UF students in any discipline may apply for SUIRP. Students receive a summer international research award of up to $5000 to cover travel and living expenses. Students must secure an international research position at a University and then complete the SUIRP application. Students are encouraged to talk with their UF research mentor and departmental administrators to identify international collaborators that may be potential hosts.  Please note, this program does not support students to conduct research for or with UF faculty.
