The stipends will be direct deposited into your bank account by the University, so if you have not already set up the direct deposit mechanism you must sign up for Electronic Funds Transfer on ONE.UF to receive your stipend. If you are an international student, you will have to work with your faculty mentor’s office manager to complete the appropriate paperwork through Tax Services to receive your funds.
You must be registered for at least one credit at the University of Florida during Spring and Fall in order to receive your stipends. No exceptions.
Important! If you owe tuition, library fines, gator one charges, etc. it WILL be deducted from your stipend! We do not have control over this, this happens through the UF Bursar's office.
Note: Depending upon your bank's processing time, stipends might take up to a week to show up in your account.
